Nagin said he called the governor, and that he and other state and local officials are unsuccesfully trying to get through to the White House to ask if the people in Washington know what they're doing.

It has been announced that attempts to repair the levee around 17th St. Canal have been ended. That means someone in charge has decreed that emergency workers stand by and watch the city flood. New Orleans City Councilman At-Large Oliver Thomas told WWL-TV (streaming @ wwltv.com) that he had wanted to stay in New Orleans to help with rescue efforts, but that he and everyone in City Hall was forcibly evacuated to the emergency management center in Baton Rouge.

Official spokesmen are now denying the numerous reports this morning from National Guardsmen and others that New Orleans is under martial law. But that is exactly what NO and southeast La. are under as the governor demands the entire city be evacuated..

Numerous media reports indicate that refugees are not allowed to leave the Superdome. The Superdome is now a prison. Tens of thousands of Americans, trapped in a 21st-century FEMA concentration camp.

Officials at at Baton Rouge command center report that FEMA/Army Corps of Engineers have STILL not started dumping sandbags in the breach of the 17th St. Canal in New Orleans -- and may not even start until tomorrow morning. They're forcing the eggheads to draw up a permanent fix before they get started.

With its historic ties to France, New Orleans and Louisiana are a key beachhead of resistance against the warmongering Anglo-American Bush Junta. If someone in France's DGSE, or Moscow, or even Alaska would use their weather control technology to defuse the storm, the contribution to world peace would be much appreciated.

Noreen Gosch appeared on the "Closer Look" radio program based at KHNC 1360 AM in Colorado this Wednesday. Mrs. Gosch appeaared to update the audience on two issues concerning her son Johnny Gosch, who was kidnapped into an intellegence-pedophile-blackmail ring in 1982. [Hour 1 | Hour 2]

Gosch first reported that the man threatening to sue her and demanding the invemtory of her book, Why Johnny Can't Come Home, is still threatening to do so, but may be mostly bluster.

The other person not following through is the male prostitute discovered in the White House earlier this year, who goes by the name Jeff Gannon. Gannon is yet to follow through on his promise to undergo a DNA test to determine whether or not he is Johnny Gosch. This is what Mrs. Gosch said :

NOREEN GOSCH:Directly following the program after Jeff Gannon had agreed to take a DNA test, I did write him an email and tell him that we were ready to go and Jim [Rothstein, NYPD Ret.] was taking care of getting it set up with a lab to do the actual test and Jeff Gannon responded and said unless it was done his way it wouldn't be done at all; and his attorney would be drawing up a lot of demands. And so, I asked him then for the name of his Attorney so that we could communicate, our attorney with his attorney and get this all set up legally or whatever was going to make him happy. And he has so far not given us his attorney's name. So it's been in limbo.

One of the restrictions he had allusded to in an email with me was that after the DNA test had been completed he would expect me to sign documents agreeing never to speak his name again in public.... that's no problem.

I have nothing against the man or anything like that. We had tried to arrange a quiet, private DNA test right from the beginning. And so that was always my hope, to keep it siumple. And then it got bigger because he brought it up on television and lots of things and it went from there, and that is where it stands.

More on Able Danger...

Maybe the military also learned about Mohammed Atta when he attended the International Officer's School at Maxwell/Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala.

From New York Times Aug. 22:

An active-duty Navy captain has become the second military officer to come forward publicly to say that a secret intelligence program tagged the ringleader of the Sept. 11 attacks as a possible terrorist more than a year before the attacks.

The officer, Scott J. Phillpott, said in a statement on Monday that he could not discuss details of the military program, which was called Able Danger, but confirmed that its analysts had identified the Sept. 11 ringleader, Mohamed Atta, by name by early 2000. "My story is consistent," said Captain Phillpott, who managed the program for the Pentagon's Special Operations Command. "Atta was identified by Able Danger by January-February of 2000."

His comments came on the same day that the Pentagon's chief spokesman, Lawrence Di Rita, told reporters that the Defense Department had been unable to validate the assertions made by an Army intelligence veteran, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, and now backed up by Captain Phillpott, about the early identification of Mr. Atta.

Colonel Shaffer went public with his assertions last week, saying that analysts in the intelligence project were overruled by military lawyers when they tried to share the program's findings with the F.B.I. in 2000 in hopes of tracking down terrorist suspects tied to Al Qaeda.

Mr. Di Rita said . . ., "thus far we've not been able to uncover what these people said they saw - memory is a complicated thing."

The large-scale drill that military personnel in Charleston had been repeatedly briefed on for a year was postponed from last Wednesday, August 17 to Thursday the 18th. Then on the 18th, a smaller-scale drill than what had been anticipated was conducted in its stead. NORTHCOM is now claiming "Sudden Response 05" is over. It may be that that's all she wrote for SR05. WorldNetDaily posted a sloppy dispatch at 1am EDT on Sunday morning. The article claimed "Sudden Response 05" was completed, twice getting the name of the drill wrong, including in the title (and only once correct).

At one point the WND article, purpotedly detailing the activities in Charleston, lapses into the future tense, raising suspicions that the unsigned dispatch is little more than a hastily-rewritten Pentagon press release:

"Army National Guard Maj. Gen. Bruce Davis, the task force commander, directed the Charleston drill, which included 164 members of his operation, dozens of role players who will represent other organizations the joint task force would work with, as well as representatives from South Carolina's state government and officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency."

Meanwhile, Naval source in Charleston denies that end of SR05 has occured. The WND story calls to mind the item last Wednesday in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, which claimed that the Charleston part of the drill had happened last Sunday, when no such thing had. Did a scaled-down SR05 indeed complete last week without incident? Or does the WND story have no truth at all?

In other news, concerned Charlestonians may want to keep an eye on a ship scheduled to pull in tomorrow, but instead pulled in early, at 1430 today, Sunday. The Ingolstadt, a ship named after the hometown of the Illuminati, is in the Union Pier terminal. The proprietor of the Ingolstadt is Wilmington Shipping, a U.S. Army contractor based in the hometown of the Army's primary special operations base, Fort Bragg.

(Total411.info) August 20 -- The pivotal Sudden Response 05 military nuclear terror drill scheduled for August 17 remains in limbo.

After a series of events beginning with a June 29 NORTHCOM press release from now-fired General Kevin Byrnes' command at Ft. Monroe, "Sudden Response 05" was exposed in the public consciousness as the likely venue for the nuclear event that would would establish the pretext for open nuclear warfare against Iran.

With the Charleston drill postponed twice so far, knowlegable observers ask if there is a ship somewhere offshore with the neocon-pretext nuke, searching for a port willing to take its cargo -- not unlike the infamous 1987 New York garbage barge. With a worm recently shutting down U.S. Customs computers, forcing hand-processing of cargo, genuine port security officers around the country should be on watch.

Meanwhile, questions remain about the role of the rather shadowy Area Maritime Security Committees (AMSCs) in all of this. A 2002 federal law created under the auspices of the U.S. Coast Guard, "Area Maritime Security Committees" consisting of members from federal, state, local and private sectors to centralize control of port security.



An April 2005 report by the Congressional General Accounting Office (GAO) focuses on AMSC operations at four ports, and what it has to say about Charleston is very interesting. According to the GAO report, Charleston's AMSC is different from other AMSCs because "The area maritime security committee for the port of Charleston has a separate intelligence subcommittee made up of members that have security clearances." No official website has published a list of members of this AMSC. Who are they -- particularly these special intelligence subcommittee members?

That same GAO report also mentions that only three ports in the nation have special interagency operations centers. From GAO:

Interagency operational centers can provide continuous information about maritime activities and involve various agencies directly in operational decisions using this information. Radar, sensors, and cameras offer representations of vessels and facilities. Other data are available from intelligence sources, including data on vessels, cargo, and crew...

In Charleston, four federal agencies (DOJ, Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) coordinate in a unified command structure, and each of these agencies feeds information into the center. Eight state or local agencies (such as the county sheriff and the state’s law enforcement division) have participants at the center full-time, and eight others participate on an as-needed or part-time basis. Federal and nonfederal officials told us that information sharing has improved, since participants from multiple agencies are colocated with each other and work together to identify potential threats by sharing information.

GAO goes on to report that DOJ (Department of Justice) runs the op-center for Charleston. Where this operations center is located in unclear. There is, however, a U.S. Attorney's Office at 151 Meeting St., just blocks from the water.

But back to these AMSCs. On Thursday morning, Homeland Security's Transportation Security Agency (TSA) suddenly announced that the series of AMSC terror drills called PortSTEP, complete with maercenary "private contractors" would begin in San Francisco Bay that day. On Friday morning, a mysterious explosion took place beneath the streets of downtown San Francisco. Was the exercise still going on Friday? Bay Area activists and researchers should seek to bring Geiger counters and radacs and other devices to Market St. ASAP to check this out.

I am navy here in charleston....i know for a fact that the nurses in charge of the clinics in the hospital in north charleston, which is just a few blocks away from the harbor have "freed" up the doctors sched tomorrow so they can attend said drill. i was talking about this to a fellow corpsman and one of the head nurses said we weren't to talk about it, and that he had just freed up the docs to attend the drill. its not to be common knowledge he said. there where no other details discussed.

Interviewing further the source, one of the games being played military spokesmen becomes apparent. You see, the Charleston Naval Base is based in the city of North Charleston, South Carolina. So when NORTHCOMM told the Charleston Post and Courier there were no drills scheduled for Charleston -- that didn't include North Charleston, which is a different city. North Charleston contains the Naval ports -- "ports off Charleston."



The Charleston Naval Base has been majorly downsized the past 15 years, so the largely abandoned facilities would be perfect for a "drill" like this.

Moreover, the Charleston Naval Base in North Charleston, did pick up one major program since the downsizing, according to GlobalSecurity.org:

The military remains a major industry in the Charleston area today, despite major downsizings. The 1995 round of Base Realignments and Closures resulted in the decision for Charleston to receive the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command transferring from Orlando, Florida, bringing with it 500 permanent active military jobs as well as 2,500 transient students attending the school each year. The Navy expects to have an estimated 7,800 active and civilian employees after the April '96 closure, with the 500 Power Training Command employees to be added by 1999.

The NNPTC is in the Naval Weapons Center in Goose Creek, which is north of North Charleston and was originally established as the Charleston Naval Ammunition Depot. Very interesting.

So, despite denials in the Charleston print and electronic press, indications are that military facilities in the Charleston area are drilling on Wednesday August 17th. Gen. Anthony R. Jones, who has taken over for the suddenly-fired general about to oversee a major nuclear terror exercise off the Atlantic coast, was a key figure in covering up the extent of the abuse by the U.S. military at Abu Gharib prison in Iraq. Jones was inserted into the middle of an ongoing investigation to make sure that no one above one Army unit was found guilty.

  With coverage all over the Internet and in other media from Coast to Coast AM to the Charleston Post and Courier, there's a good chance that if any nuclear drills in August were scheduled to "go live," the idea has been shelved by now.
  
  However, there is no underestimating the mania of the New World Order when it's cornered. A final push should be made Tuesday to make sure that as many people as possible know, and know that Americans know, that there is a real danger a nuclear terror drill could "go live" as soons as Wednesday, August 17.

With that sufficient background, folks should call the following places and somewhat calmly, yet urgently, state that on both 9/11 and 7/7, "drills" mimicking the actual attacks were ongoing, which enabled an actual attack to "go live" amidst the confusion. If this sounds familiar, perhaps you remember "Special Bulletin," a 1983 movie with roughly the same plot and set in Charleston. Perhaps the terrorists don't have a manual, just cable television.

One Web site says the idea is that the exercise was intended to "go live" and be used for cover for a real attack. For proof, they say terrorism drills were planned in the United States on 9/11 and in London on 7/7.

"They say"?! First off, this isn't just something "they say." This can be easily verified after a few minutes on google. The reporter doesn't say which website he's refering to -- most sites have just said there is a great danger that the attack could, or could have been intended to, go live.

Problem is, the terrorism drill, which will focus on bad guys getting nukes, will take place this week at Fort Monroe in Hampton Roads, Va. -- about 400 miles up the coast. Charleston was apparently mentioned on a lark.

If Charleston was chosen as "a lark," why did the NORTHCOMM press release say that Federal Emergency Management Authority (FEMA) Region IV would be invited to participate in the drill? Region IV pointedly does not encompass Virginia, where Ft. Monroe is, but does include South Carolina (along with Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee).

The organization charged with homeland defense has no plans to stage a drill in the Lowcountry.

Did the Post-Courier check with FEMA about any planned exercises? NORTHCOMM also announced they'd be inviting South Carolina Emergency Management Division to play as well. There are no denials from those folks in this piece, either.

"We have no planned exercises in Charleston," said Lt. Jody Vazquez with the Northern Command.

What about exercises "off the port of Charleston"? That's what the NORTHCOMM release said the drill was about. Not "in Charleston."

[...]As is often the case in the world of conspiracy theories, nothing is ever simple. The story, as reported on Internet sites such as prisonplanet.com and total911.info, says that the recent firing of a four-star general, ostensibly for sexual misconduct, was actually an attempt to thwart a military uprising against "neo-con hawks in an attempt to prevent further global conflict." The general, Kevin P. Byrnes, was head of Fort Monroe's Training and Doctrine Command. And, according to these Internet sites, Byrnes was leading an insurgency bent on stopping the United States from escalating global conflict.

This is rather odd that www.total911.info has not reported on Gen. Byrnes at all, but sister site www.total411.info has. Both sites ran an early story about the NORTHCOMM drill on July 27, though. That piece urged folks to call Ft. Monroe and ask questins. Byrnes was fired from his position 14 days later. Perhaps the reporter is a fan of both sites and got confused?

[...]Other details, such as why Iran would blow up Charleston, are not explained in these theories.

Wha-huh? Clearly, every site that has discussed this issue has said that the danger is factions inside the U.S. government blowing something up, not Iran.

Can the reporter really be this semi-literate? Perhaps not, and an editor insisted or insinuated that the story had to be this juvenile (some elided passages are even worse) or else it wouldn't be run at all.

Regardless, hopefully enough noise has been made about this that anything sinister planned will not have a chance to go down.

A caller on the Matt Drudge radio show Sunday night said that the Art Bell show had said last night that the russians would nuke us aug 17. Sure enough the website coasttocoastam.com says he had a guy named Nyquist on Saturday night who's flogging a story on his website now that Russia and the alleged "Al Qaeda" are about to nuke us. Nyquist doesn't back up this conspiracy theory, but he does spend a lot of electrons haranguing on about how evil "conspiracy theories" are.

Art Bell has been roundly critizized online as a Masonic disinformation operative. So is this interview just so much noise, like a typical Bell broadcast? Or is Clearchannel trying to lay the psychological basis for World War IV as plans for Wednesday move forward? Interestingly, Bell has been pushed to the weekend shift on his own show, and a truthseeker named George Noory hosts weeknights. Noory featured a good interview with Jones on the Byrnes/nuke drill matter last week.

Readers of this website know that Wednesday August 17 will see a high-level nuclear terror drill predicated on the idea that a nuclear warhead will be detonated near the port of Charleston, South Carolina. A key general in the exercise has been fired on supremely flimsy pretext just months before his scheduled retirment.

So, in light of the March 2001 pilot episode of the Lone Gunmen, which featured a plane remote-controlled into the World Trade Center in order to set off a war of profiteering, this August 11 item from the blog of reporter Andrew Griffin is quite interesting:

This all started tonight while I was listening to "The Alex Jones Show," and a woman called in saying that she had seen a movie in the 1980s about a movie called "Special Reports" which had to do with a fake newscast covering an event where terrorists have a nuclear bomb aboard a tugboat in Charleston Harbor in Charleston, South Carolina.

Well, I started looking on the web and couldn't find anything under that name. Later, I was talking on the phone to my friend Gene about this story going around the Internet about the "terror drill" planned for Aug. 17 in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Then, he said he remembered seeing a movie like this. It was a broadcast of a nuclear explosion aboard a boat. Gene thought it was real because it was filmed like a real news broadcast.

After some more searching, I found the movie. It was called "Special Bulletin" and it came out in 1983. It was written and directed by those guys behind the yuppie angst show "thirtysomething, " Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz.

This is too bizarre, considering a "terror drill" is planned for next week in the same location!! And of course the fired, four-star general Kevin Byrnes, stationed at Fort Monroe, Virginia, was scheduled to be part of this "drill." Career Justice Department attorney named firewall between Special Prosecutor and Attorney General.
In another sign that Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has uncovered some serious criminal wrongdoing in the investigation of the White House leak of Valerie Plame and her non-official cover network tracking weapons of mass destruction proliferation, outgoing Deputy Attorney General James Comey appointed career Justice Department attorney and Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General David Margolis as the person who will broadly oversee Fitzgerald's investigation. Margolis has served as Chief of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section and head of the Strike Force Against Organized Crime and he is considered a top organized crime buster by his colleagues. The Margolis appointment is significant since President Bush announced that Timothy E. Flanigan would replace Comey. Flanigan's links to recently indicted GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff has Democrats and Republicans questioning Flanigan's suitability for the number two job at Justice.

There was also a Newsweek report that Bush Yale/Skull & Bones classmate Robert McCallum would be named as Fitzgerald's overseer. With Comey trumping the White House by naming Margolis, a 40 year Justice Department veteran whose portfolio includes the Abscam investigation of powerful politicians, it now appears that the McCallum story was floated by the White House as an attempt to intimidate Fitzgerald. Career Justice Department prosecutors view the Margolis appointment as an indication that Comey wants to protect his friend Fitzgerald from White House pressure as preperations for indictments of at least two White House officials are in their final stages.



What is particularly noteworthy with the Margolis appointment is a note that surfaced during the congressional investigation of President Clinton's pardon of fugitive billionaire Marc Rich. A 1999 note written by Jack Quinn, Rich's Arnold & Porter law firm attorney, states that David Margolis was one of the Justice Department prosecutors who thought it was ridiculous for any Justice Department to meet with Rich's attorneys to hammer out a pardon agreement. ["Eric" and "EH" are references to then-Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder; "Mary Jo" is Mary Jo White, then-U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and chief investigator of the Rich pardon; "JR" is a reference to then-Attorney General Janet Reno.] Obviously Margolis, as an organized crime buster, was well aware of Rich's international criminal activities and his ties with Russian and Israeli mobsters. Margolis, along with other Justice prosecutors, including White, was opposed to the pardon of Rich. At the time of the lobbying effort for the pardon, one of Rich's other attorneys was none other than Lewis "Scooter" Libby, a prime target of the Fitzgerald probe.

Rep. Cynthia McKinney's July 22 Copngressional briefing was an okay introduction to somne very basic 9/11 truth issues. Pressure from some of the family members forced McKinney to not have some of the best 9/11 truth people such as David Ray Griffin speak.So it's good news that C-SPAN is airing these at all; perhaps sopme viewers will be inspired to seekk out more informaitno.

It's also intereting to note the zombie of 9/11 Commission has put on a number of PR stunts, hours upon hours of which will be rerun by C-SPAN to kind of bury the McKinney informatino in the dry lies of the "9/11 Public Discourse Project", a Rockefeller-funded "non-profit" to keep Kean, Hamilton, et alia. on the payola payroll. At a couple of events, an audience member was able to ask a pertinent question.

There is a web site (http://www.orbwar.com) that is in part dedicated to documenting this Pentagon hyper-technology of mid-air illusions, deceptive but not fully perfect (in case of scalar secret weapons, highly energized for explosions). The skin of the proposed flight UA175 (which is the wrong UA175) looks in many respects just like that, especially: its false shine and false shadow, its false lack of details and colour and its blinking and often transparent wing-illusions. I am convinced that the visible outside skin of the wrong flight UA175 is such a 'Ghost Gun' like the holo-cloak of the stealth fighter because it enters the building like an unreal ghost and the entry hole is much smaller than the ghost. I interpret this as a roaring small missile riding (with a toggling missile flight path) inside a specially imaged large holographic cloak depicting with 98% accuracy a Boeing 767 (plus small tell-tale marks to be looked out for, such as in this article by eagle-eyed Marcus Icke). ...
Altogether, the media of record for 911 are so strikingly different from a real Boeing that they give us all the certainty we could possibly need.

The 'pod' is evidently not an illusion of the light, it does not hamper and obstruct the bay doors for the landing gear, and it is an authentic sign that something is wrong with the proposed 'plane'.

And from Marcus Icke's conclusion:

The UA175 aircraft was not a production model Boeing 767-200 manufactured in Seattle, or any other commercially available variant of the Boeing 767 family.

The UA175 aircraft may be a structurally reinforced psuedo-767-200 which might explain why we see it cutting through WTC2 as if it were butter. The passage of the airframe through the tower may have been assisted by the destruction of the interior structure with explosives at the moment of impact.

The UA175 aircraft may have been added to the film during transmission or after transmission / reproduction to cover the absence of any aircraft or to conceal an aircraft that was not a Boeing 767-200.

There is a strong possibly that the UA175 aircraft is a hologram, the technology of which would have been developed and deployed for 911 by the US military...

I consider both the Port wing Anomaly and the orange 'flash' to be examples of 'Whistle Blowing' by disgruntled Perpetrators involved in the creation or modification of photographs and rolling film.

Piecing It All Together -

While planning the 911 atrocities the Perpetrators realised that flying a real jet into the WTC2 tower was not going cause enough damage to publicly justify the collapse of the structure using the 'burning jet fuel' theory.

As the Perpetrators needed 911 and the eyes of the world were going to be focused on the Trade Towers something that looked believably like a Boeing 767-200 had to be deployed and seen to be flying into the tower.

The only choice was to use some form of hi-tech optical illusion to fool the masses into thinking that a real jet had hit WTC2 and then use pre-planed explosives to create believable structural damage and a impressive pyrotechnic display.

The problem was that the Perpetrators couldn't get the optical illusion to look 100% realistic so in order to conceal this weakness they used a media hoax to 'plug the gap' and leave the masses with believable live footage and/or pre-fabricated/modified footage of the event.

News is flying in regard to the nuclear terror drill set for this month. It is feared by informed researchers that an actual nuclear detonation may be piggybacked on the drill, as was the modus operandi in the 9/11 and 7/7 inside jobs.

As reported at this site, the drill involving a nuclear warhead being smuggled into Charleston, South Carolina is to involve the Atlanta-area FEMA office and be run out of Fort Monroe, Virginia. Today, the four-star general in charge of Fort Monroe was fired. Anonymously-sourced and speculative reports on the leading alternative media websites posited General Kevin Byrnes was fired for attempting to prevent the drill from going live. (See Lehrman/Physics911.net, Szymanski/Arctic Beacon, Jones,Watson/PrisonPlanet, Skolnick/Cloak&Dagger.

Now a Washington Times report, also anonymously-sourced, highlights the flimsy basis on which he was fired -- adultery. Not the Jeff Gannon kind of military adultery popular in the White House; but involvement, while separated from his wife, with a woman in a separate command. It also turns out Rumsfeld tried to chase him out the military three years ago. Looks like he finally found a pretext.

From WashTimes August 10 :

An official announcement yesterday did not specify why Gen. Kevin P. Byrnes, 52, was removed from his command of all soldier training and doctrine development, but two retired Army officers said it was for having an extramarital affair.

Adultery is illegal in the military, constituting conduct unbecoming an officer. The sources said they think the woman was not a subordinate of Gen. Byrnes at U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Va.

It is rare in modern times for the Army to relieve a four-star general. ...

Gen. Byrnes, one of 11 four-star Army generals, was nearing the end of a three-year term at U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command when Gen. Peter Schoomaker, the Army chief of staff, relieved him of command yesterday.

Gen. Byrnes had been under investigation for some time and had been in the throes of a divorce.

A number of officers went to bat [for Byrnes] in 2002 when Mr. Rumsfeld threatened to end his career at lieutenant general.

Mr. Rumsfeld was upset at Gen. Byrnes for fighting proposed troop cuts being outlined by the defense secretary's aide, Stephen Cambone.

Then-Army Secretary Thomas White and top generals interceded and convinced Mr. Rumsfeld to keep him. Shortly thereafter, Gen. Byrnes won nomination to a fourth star and the TRADOC command...

And, like the sevaeral drill occuring on 9/11, the Fort Monroe Casemate for August 5 reports a series of terror drills at the base on August 17.:

An antiterrorism exercise to test the effectiveness of installation plans and procedures in response to a terrorist attack will take place here Aug. 17.

A series of live emergency response drills are scheduled throughout the day, according to Bill Moisant, Fort Monroe’s antiterrorism officer. ...

Impacts could include extremely thorough security checks at gates, restricted movement near emergency response drill sites and temporary closure of some customer service activities.

Moisant explained that the Fort Monroe Crisis Action Team, first responders, supporting agencies, and assigned and tenant organizations will be evaluated on their ability to respond to a simulated terrorist incident. He said the exercise could involve City of Hampton police and fire officials, as well as other off-post agencies.[,..]

Exact times and locations of exercise site events are not indicated due to OPSEC requirements. Cooperation by personnel and agencies affected by the exercise is greatly appreciated.

The exercise is not open to the general public or local news media.

The names of several NORAD wargames and terror drills are being changed, including some, such as Amalgam Warrior, which was used to piggyback in the actual 9/11 inside job attacks.

From THE WASHINGTON TIMES, August 10, 2005:

The U.S.-Canadian military commands responsible for protecting North America... have changed the names of key readiness exercises...

U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs have struck the word "warrior" from one major exercise and replaced it with "phantom," according to a July internal message from command headquarters. The message went to Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, the Joint Chiefs and other senior leaders. ...

A NORAD spokesman, Air Force Master Sgt. John Tomassi, [claimed] "warrior" and other words were changed with Indians in mind. [But] He said, "They have been using these names for quite some time, and I don't know of any complaints."

An exercise called "Amalgam Chief" has been changed to "Amalgam Arrow," the message states. And an exercise dubbed "Amalgam Fabric Brave" is now "Amalgam Fabric Dart." "Fabric Indian" was deleted in favor of "Fabric Sabre."

Northern Command and NORAD are keeping exercise labels of "Northern Edge," "Vigilant Shield," "Ardent Sentry," "Amalgam Mute" and "Vital Archer."

The bottom line: warrior, chief, brave and Indian are out; phantom, arrow and dart are in.

NORAD is a U.S.-Canadian organization commanded by U.S. Adm. Timothy J. Keating, who also heads Northern Command. ... Its largest exercise to practice those tactics is the twice-yearly Amalgam Warrior, which is scheduled for next April and is now Amalgam Phantom.

Amalgam Fabric Brave, which is now Amalgam Fabric Dart, involves deploying fighter jets to various NORAD regions to check their response times.

Phantom seems appropriate given the nonexistent nature of many or all of the alleged hijackers on 9/11.

Funny the New York Times didn't mention that Atta was trained at Montgomery Air Force Base...

More than a year before the Sept. 11 attacks, a small, highly classified military intelligence unit identified Mohammed Atta and three other future hijackers as likely members of a cell of Al Qaeda operating in the United States, according to a former defense intelligence official and a Republican member of Congress.

In the summer of 2000, the military team, known as Able Danger, prepared a chart that included visa photographs of the four men and recommended to the military's Special Operations Command that the information be shared with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the congressman, Representative Curt Weldon of Pennsylvania, and the former intelligence official said Monday.

The recommendation was rejected and the information was not shared...

A former spokesman for the Sept. 11 commission, Al Felzenberg, confirmed that members of its staff, including Philip Zelikow, the executive director, were told about the program on an overseas trip in October 2003 that included stops in Afghanistan and Pakistan. But Mr. Felzenberg said the briefers did not mention Mr. Atta's name.

The report produced by the commission last year does not mention the episode. ..

He said the original chart, like the new one, had included the names and photographs of Mr. Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi...

Neither Mr. Shehhi nor Mr. Atta was identified by the American intelligence agencies as a potential threat, the commission report said...

The former intelligence official said he was among a group that briefed Mr. Zelikow and at least three other members of the Sept. 11 commission staff about Able Danger when they visited the Afghanistan-Pakistan region in October 2003.

The official said he had explicitly mentioned Mr. Atta as a member of a Qaeda cell in the United States. He said the staff encouraged him to call the commission when he returned to Washington at the end of the year. When he did so, the ex-official said, the calls were not returned.

There seems to be some attempt to spin this into a reason for more military "datamining" on civilians -- what with the alleged "highjackers" living at Montgomery Air Base, Pensecola Air Station and Monterey Defense Language Institute; it's the civilians who should be datamining the military's records.

The shamtastic 9/11 Commission has turned itself into a travelling "non-profit" 501(c)3 road-show, with the Commissioners funded by the likes of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

At the last highly circumcised exercise in alleged "public discourse," titled, FOREIGN POLICY: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Commission's Vice-Chair Lee Hamilton (D-CFR) was questioned by Kyle Hence of 9/11 Citizens Watch. Hence asked why the transparently fraudulent 9/11 Commission Report failed to mention that alleged lead hijacker Mohammed Atta received $100,000 from Mahmoud Ahmed, head of the Pakistania intelligence service ISI -- who just happened to be breakfasting during the 9/11 attacks with the heads of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, Rep. Porter Goss and Sen. Bob Graham.

Sounds like NASA's playing more games. Chatter on the Richard Hoagland blog reports circular radar anomalies indicative of weather control for creating cloud cover; which has put off the first scheduled landing..

Hopefully these poor space bastards will land safely like in the Apollo 13 movie; and not crash all over the ancient cities buried in the Gulf of Mexico for the blackop searchsubs to pick over. At least this mission's patch looks more like a yin & yang symbol than a shuttle falling into pieces like the Colombia's last patch did.
