 Posted to 911truthalliance list Jan 20 2005: You probably don't think of Oklahoma as a significant place to study in relation to 9/11. Think again.
Norman is the home of OU, whose corrupt president, David Boren, was the longest-serving chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, before he resigned from his seat in 1994. In 1987 he launched the inept George Tenet on his career path leading to the CIA director's job, by making him chief of staff for that committee.
According to TIME and other sources, Boren and Tenet were having breakfast together in a Washington hotel on the morning of the 9/11 attack. The media commonly describe Boren as Tenet's "mentor." I would say that Tenet has been his puppet.
You are probably aware that Zacarias Moussaoui spent six months in Norman in 2001, where he took flight lessons, lived in OU dorms, worked out at the OU gym, and was receiving cash wire transfers from the Hamburg cell of Al Qaeda. In August, OU student Hussein Al-Attas drove him to Minneapolis, for more flight lessons, and he was arrested there. There was more Al Qaeda activity in Oklahoma besides this.
According to the LA Weekly, in the summer of 2001 Moussaoui had a meeting with hijacker Mohammed Atta in an Oklahoma City motel. The 9/11 Commission report lied and said that Moussaoui never met Atta (pp. 246-247, W. W. Norton edition). They knew better. I had told them about this.

You were probably not aware that in the summer of 2001, Boren arranged for the appointment of top CIA spook David Edger to a "visiting professor" job at OU. Edger earlier had been chief of all U.S. intelligence operations in Germany, which included surveillance over the Hamburg Al Qaeda cell.
Bottom line: in 2001, the inner circle of U.S. spookdom was operating from Norman, Oklahoma.
There's more. It was reported by OkC Channel 5 TV news that an airline ticket for a 9/11 hijacker was purchased from an OU library computer terminal. Before the news report, an OU librarian told me she was present when the FBI came around to interview about it. She said he wasn't a hijacker. He was a white American male.

They were pressured by someone (probably Boren and the CIA spooks) into concealing the story. I suspect that the guy who bought the ticket was infiltrating Al Qaeda under CIA supervision:

David Boren is like a fat octopus with long nasty tentacles reaching in every direction. He had himself covered on the 9/11 Commission. One of its members was Jim Thompson, who is attorney for American Airlines.
Boren is on the AA board of directors.
