2:40pm CDT -- A representative of the Army Corps of Engineers, in a press conference at the Baton Rouge Emergency Operations Center broadcast live on WWL-TV, made an obvious point. He said that the 10,000 citizens who remain in New Orleans are in no way interfering with the operations to pump the water out of the city.

Again, that is an obivous point -- of course people being in the city have no effect on the pumps. But the proapganda put out by the Homeland Security Department has been insisting otherwise.
