"THE BOTTOM LINE IS DISEASE!" So screamed CNN reporter Jeff Koinange Friday night on CNN. Koinange has been foremost among the screaming heads on television warning about the coming disease that is sure to sweep New Orleans. But all cablenews networks keep repeating the code words to lay the gorund for widespread disease -- "toxic soup."

But while Koinange bleats, cooler heads have snuck on to Fox News Channel, perhaps not so tightly controlled by Army intelligence as the more sophisticated propaganda to be found on CNN. For instance, Dr. Michael Baden appeared on Geraldo Rivera's Saturday night hour to explain that you will get more exposure to active bacteria by changing a baby's diaper than you will walking through the New Orleans floodwaters. Baden pointed out that as long as you don't drink the water you should be fine, and the idea that people on dry land with access to clean water should be forcibly evacuated is ridiculous. And earlier that night on Fox, former Public Health Director for New Orleans, Brobson Lutz explained that the idea mosquitos would spread diseases from corpses to the living, has long since been proven to be nonsense.

Those who perceive geopolitical fighting between London and Paris in New Orleans would recognize Koinange's pedigree to be that of an agent for MI6. Born in Kenya under the British Crown, Koinange was in charge of all news from Africa for the Biritsh wire service Reuters. Koinange had a similar job for CNN before he was flown to New Orleans to loudly proclaim how it reminds of him the third world. And to inculcate the television audience about the coming plague.

Meanwhile, upriver in Baton Rouge is Louisiana State University with an active biolab, a world leader in West Nile virus research. LSU was to be the home of Stephen Hatfill, until it was exposed Hatfill was a prime "person of interest" in the 2001 anthrax attacks. Hatfill was an expert in bioweapons at the U.S. Army's Fort Detrick, who had spent a lot of time in African countries of the British Commonwealth, followed where he went by strange plagues of new origin.

The current governor of Louisiana, Kathleen Blanco, is of French Cajun blood. She narrowly defeated the Republican candidate, now-Congressman Bobby Jindal. Jindal was born of Indian (British Commonwealth) parents and was a Rhodes Scholar, a known breeding ground for British intelligence agents. He went on to major positions in the La. health department and Baby Bush's Health & Human Services. His most sickening public moment was when he organized the "inked finger" salute to Fuhrer Bush at the State of Union Address wherein Bush attempted to justify the UK-US' dishonest and illegal war on Iraq.

Louisiana may have averted a planned bioattack just this weekend. Yesterday it was announced that the US Air Force would begin spraying New Orleans for mosquitos today, Sunday. But today FEMA announced, broadcast on CNN, that spraying would commence Monday under the auspices of the Air National Guard -- which is controlled by Baton Rouge rather than Washington.

While it is probably important to spray for mosquitos given the likelihood swarms seeded with lab-created diseases may be released, it is also important the state of Louisiana have control and check everything cannister that is sprayed to make sure they do not contain exotic military bioweapons. Forces on the ground loyal to the state and the elite of New Orleans (National Guard, Blackwater mercenaries, state police) must also be on alert for bioterrorists.

The Battle of New Orleans continues tonight as Bush embeds himself on a Navy Carrier docked on the Mississipi.

Hatfill's biowar pedigree is real; and the anthrax was definitely from Detrick.

I highly doubt any *one* person did all those anthrax mailings, though.
