9-11 made USA look like a fool. USA can't handle some guys with boxcutters. But exensive 'Homeland Security' was going to improove things..

Now with Katrina, years later everybody sees there have not been made good plans to deal with disasters or terror acts. What is the differnce between them. A terror attack on a city's watersupply and energy supplies?

USA playing cowboy in the Gulf and seeing they did not much to be able to handle things like floods or dirty bom evacution is very foolish. And fooling around with oil and econy.. Letting US and other counrties slip into 'oil problems'... If the hurt region's oil production is so important, why not protect it from the water?

The hurricane was natural, but the flood is man made. Cutting on finance while the region is so important (the oil AND people) looks very bad. What is USA doing in Iraq while they don't even care about protecting there own oil? Or did they go to bring 'democracy'?
