This is an odd story -- low levels of tularemia, aka rabbit fever, a longtime military bioweapon, was detected in several locations around DC as hundreds of thousands protested the war. Obviously, there wasn't a mass dieoff from rabbit fever, though anecdotal evidence from the District and protestors does suggest an inordinate amount of illness since then.

Was the tularemia bioweapon tied in with the "Granite Shadow" military police-state-takeover drill run out of NORTHCOMM? It could have conceivably be used a pretext to shut down the protests, but that obviously didn't happen either.

Washington Post 9/30:

"Biohazard sensors showed the presence of small amounts of potentially dangerous tularemia bacteria in the Mall area last weekend as huge crowds assembled there, but health officials said they believed the levels were too low to be a threat.

Health authorities in the Washington area were notified yesterday that the bacteria were found in and near the area between the U.S. Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial, where crowds gathered Saturday for an antiwar
