Mormon university attacks own professor on 9/11

A couple of weeks ago a Physics professor at Brigham Young University authored a paper proving the quite obvious fact that the World Trade Center was destroyed via a controlled demolition.

Founded by a Masonic cult and firmly affixed to the federal teat, the BYU administration has posted a nastygram to the tenured professor on the website for its engineering school:
"Fulton College Response to Professor Steven Jones’s Statements Regarding Collapse of World Trade Center
Brigham Young University has a policy of academic freedom that supports the pursuit and dissemination of knowledge and ideas. Through the academic process, ideas should be advanced, challenged, and debated by peer-review in credible venues. We believe in the integrity of the academic review process and that, when it is followed properly, peer-review is valuable for evaluating the validity of ideas and conclusions.

The University is aware that Professor Steven Jones's hypotheses and interpretations of evidence regarding the collapse of World Trade Center buildings are being questioned by a number of scholars and practitioners, including many of BYU's own faculty members. Professor Jones's department and college administrators are not convinced that his analyses and hypotheses have been submitted to relevant scientific venues that would ensure rigorous technical peer review. The structural engineering faculty in the Fulton College of Engineering and Technology do not support the hypotheses of Professor Jones.

      Comments:

I am LDS or a mormon, and your comment about BYU started by a masonic cult is unfounded and not true. You are throwing names at the church when you should be focusing on Steven Jones's paper. I agree and support what Steven is doing, i just do not belong to a church that is a masonic cult.

I too am a Mormon/LDS, and will repeat that your assertation that Mormonism is a cult is entirely incorrect and unfounded. Sure, Joseph Smith joined up with the Masons, but anyone who actually does some research into it can see that it was inconsequential.

You're barking up the wrong tree if you think it (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) is a cult. Pick up a Book of Mormon and read Ether chapter 8, it pretty much spells out what is going on right now with this illuminati stuff. We are against it.

I too agree with what Dr. Jone's is doing, but I see no problem with what BYU has stated. They are just covering themselves like any other university would. It was hardly an attack even.

Once again though I'd like to reitterate that the anti-Mormon sentiment was entirely innapropriate. I wish you guys would be more mature in your journalism.

I appreciate the information I get from visiting the Alex Jones web sites. However, the obvious anti-mormon headline leads me to believe that maybe you don't really research your material. It looks more like a typical protestant attack on Mormons than any real attempt at accurate journalism.
Grow up and focus on the story, not your narrow minded prejudices.

The real Illuminati will show their blackened faces soon enough, I have no worries of those who get Christ's true message from any medium.

This is the heart of the matter if I my change gears for a note on the root. This is the real test of 9-11 science, yet hypothetical. Please follow:

-In the Nevada desert, reconstruct to blue print, the 3 buildings that fell in Manhattan, and crash planes into them, burn a WTC 7 replica. Madrid? See what really happens. Get Boros and the like to spend $ on CSI proof.
-reconstruct a section of the Pentagon for the same reasons. Would a 767 vanish again?
-Shoot down a jumbo jet and crash another over a field and record each result.

That's how you understand the pyhsics. Like all war,the grand plan for a US mid-east occupation was cast in deception. That is treson, that is ugly, this could be fatal. Empires like buildings crumble too. Stop hate.

This is for the other mormons who posted comments about the Mormon Church being a masonic cult. I also was born and raised mormon and served a two year mission in Brazil. My great great great grandfather, John Fulmer, was a personal friend and protector of Joseph Smith. Another great great great grandfather of mine was Henry Grow, architect of the Salt Lake Tabernacle. So I didn't come to my conclusions lightly. In fact it was very painful to accept, but the Mormon Church IS A MASONC CULT!!! After a lot of searching and study, that's the only conclusion that an honest seeker of truth can come to. Go to the Salt Lake temple and visitors center and look at all the masonic, sun worshiping, phalic, etc... symbols. The all seeing eye, inverted five point star (symbolic of the horned goat god or Satan also known as the five points of fellowship) the point within a circle, and all the other symbols. Then research the meaning of all these symbols. Compare the temple endowment ritual to the initiation rituals of the masons. Compare the dogma of mormonism to that of the masons, it's strangely similar. Brigham Young was a 33rd degree mason. Go look at the photographs of him, he's wearing masonic garb. I could go on and on. The comment about the Mormon Church being a masonic cult is well founded, justified and entirely appropriate.

Joseph Smith was a liar and the book of Mormon has nothing to do with the bible. It is the most edited book in the world as well.

I'd like to refer the two previous posters, and anyone else who thinks there is something spooky between Mormons and Masons to these sites:

Changes in the Book of Mormon

      Mormon Temples and Masonry

      Occult Symbols on LDS Temples

In the interest of a well-rounded view, I emplore you to please read each of the sites linked.

Erm....We do not become Gods after we die, salvation is not by works, Satan is not Christ's brother, There is no evidence of any settlement in the Americas by the Israelites, there is no language called "reformed Eygptian hierogliphics", We have no proof those gold plates ever existed......

Shall I go on ? Not being mean, just saying that the connection between Joseph Smith's teachings and biblical theology is somewhat elusive.

Anon@12:45: Conversly one can claim the Bible to be perposterous. People don't come back from the dead, there is no proof that Jesus was a real person - he could easily be a fabrication, there is no record of Israelite slavery in Egypt, and it is entirely crazy to believe that a man and his stick could part a body of water or knock water out of some rocks. Blind people don't recieve sight from spit and mud, and donkeys most certaintly do not talk.

Of course, I believe these accounts from the Bible to be true, as I am sure many of you do too. But what do we have to go on? Sure, many of the locations work just fine, and there is certaintly proof that people lived in the middle east back then, but a lot of the stuff in the Bible is unprovable and has to be taken on faith. How could we possibly believe the Bible to be true if we demand tangible evidence for everything within it? Yet, so many do believe the Bible to be the word of God. I believe the Bible to be true, and yet I am unable to produce an irrefuitable list of proofs for every single concept within it, its just one of those things. In a likewise manner, I believe the Book of Mormon to be true, as well as the Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price. It's like trying to tell someone what salt tastes like, I know what salt tastes like and yet there is no word to explain it to someone who has never tested it.

I'd like to encourage you all to visit www.mormon.org, even to contact the LDS missionaries, or order a Book of Mormon. Some things just don't make sense until you experience it for yourself.

Your not making a crucial distinction, in that Moses parting the sea with a rod containing God's name, Christ healing a blind man with spittle and mud, Balaam and the mule, etc. are clearly SUPERNATURAL events, not naturalistic phenomenon (thus obviously not subject to empirical quantification and scrutiny). As for records of the Israelite slavery era most people also thought the "Hittites" were a fictional bible race and were wrong, as well as thought Dagon, Melqart, etc. did not have Temples in most regions ascribed in bible literature and were Wrong as well. Akhenaton also disagrees with you on whether the Israelites were enslaved or not. I understand your point though.

I'm surprised at how stupid people are. Masons / Templars steal symbols and rituals from ancient Jewish temples. If God restores his ancient church, would he not bring back its ancient symbolism and rituals? Just because satan steels something good and perverts it for his own use (masonry), does that mean the symbol/ritual in question, if done as originally intended, is no longer holy?
