Colorado-based 2nd Amendment activist Rick Stanley reports, "On November 12, 2005, the Colorado Attorney General's office filed a motion for extension of time, to file an answer in the Rick Stanley 'Influencing a Public Official' Appeal, at the Colorado Court of Appeals. They have asked for a 60 day extension in order to assign the case to a member of the appellate attorney section. They went on to say in the motion that an attorney would be assigned to the case who would answer the brief as quickly as is competently possible."

It looks like Stanley's pro se litigation against bogus charges has knocked COlorado officials off their feet a bit.
