On February 11, Michael E. Kreca, a journalist who had written for mainstream publications such as BusinessWeek and Financial Times, as well as pro-freedom online news portals such as LewRockwell.com, was shot twice in the chest at point blank range by a San Diego police officer.

San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis (619-531-4040), a woman with a history of mental illness and whitewashing and covering up police shootings, has now declared that no one would be prosecuted for Kreca's murder.

Yet Kreca has a history with the SDPD that makes the officers' account suspect enough not to be taken at face value. Fellow LewRockwell.com writer Karen DeCoster reports:

""This is highly suspicious. Michael had told me before of a run-in with the cops wherein he was beaten by the bastards. If I remember correctly, he suffered severe injuries from that beating. He often talked like he thought he was a marked man, though I never fully understood it. These pigs obviously knew who he was when they pulled him aside."

And another correspondent of Mr. Kreca reports on LibertyForum :

"His niece, who he brought over from Serbia, had been beaten and raped by a cop in SD. The city settled out of court for a sizable sum of money. One cop had stated he would testify for the niece as long as the story was kept out of the press - a rookie. He was fired by the Department, along with the two senior cops involved in the incident.

After killing Mr. Kreca, SDPD went to his apartment and seized many of his possessions, including a computer which would have had evidence of his past disputes with SDPD. Mr. Kreca, Serbian by birth, had translated the autobiography of the great Serbian inventor and scientist Nikola Tesla, and this manuscript may have been among the items seized.

The mentally-ill Dumanis has since cleared Mr. Kreca's killers and blocked further investigation into the matter.

Is it any wonder that the Nazi protege, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has rewarded this ardent defender of badged killers with an appointment to the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training?
