Hawaii: UFO buzzes synthetic terror hotspot

Total411.info wasn't the only entity taking note of the high-stakes nuclear military exercise this week in Honolulu Harbor. (Recall last Thursday we issued a synthetic terror alert for Hawaii for this week.)

    United Press International:
"Hawaii UFO looked like a wayward missile

HILO, Hawaii, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- No one Thursday was claiming ownership of a tubular flying object that buzzed a Hawaii airport this week and looked a lot like a missile.

Officials at the Pohakuloa Training Area told the Honolulu Star-Bulletin that there were no military exercises involving missiles taking place when the object was spotted Tuesday over the Hilo Airport on the Big Island.

Witnesses told the newspaper the silver object was silver and emitted a vapor trail; however it had no apparent fins or markings on it.

One man told the newspaper, "The noise was super loud."

The object didn't seem to threaten any air traffic around the airport, the report said.

Hawaii officials said the FBI and Transportation Security Administration were looking into the matter.

    From Honolulu Advertiser 08 16:
"It was only a simulation, but the death and destruction from the half-kiloton nuclear explosion were put in graphic and chilling terms.

    [...]

The mock disaster, . . . brought together about 15 federal, state and city agencies in what officials believe is the first "improvised nuclear device" test of its kind in the nation.

In this case, a homemade nuclear device arrived in a shipping container and exploded on the dock.

The crater alone from such an explosion — in this case at Pier 1 at Honolulu Harbor — would be 20 feet deep and have a radius of 220 feet, officials said.

    [...]

Officials said up to 1,000 people are participating in exercise 'A Kele, including first responders from the Honolulu fire and police departments, state Defense Department, FBI, Coast Guard, U.S. Pacific Command and The Queen's Medical Center.

Ed Teixeira, vice director of state Civil Defense, said the name of the exercise uses the Hawaiian words " 'a," for hot and fiery, and "kele," for impurity, signifying radiation.

The Homeland Security Council about two years ago developed 15 national planning scenarios, including simulating an "improvised nuclear device" explosion, to test security preparedness.

The federal Defense Department is paying about $1 million for the exercise through the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in part for planning, travel and support, state Civil Defense spokesman Ray Lovell said.[...]

Lee said the simulation is "a very difficult exercise to pull off, but is one of the nation's top 15 priorities for the Department of Homeland Security

      Comments:

I noted this as well. All very curious. Of course UFOs were commonly seen out west in the 1950s during atomic tests. Good post.

You didn't offer your opinion though. What do you think it was? YOu're obviously implying the "UFO" was tied to the mil excercises, why wouldn't the press at the very least mention this as a possibility and ask the military spokesmen that they had just met with one day prior? I say it's some kind of psy-op with media complicity. I say they're testing out the Katushya rocket theory when they force us into civil war in the next year. What do you think??

As a resident of Honolulu, I was particularly concerned about your post from the previous week about a possible false flag terror attack on Honolulu. I was especially intrigued by the new information (to me) about Gen. Fridovich and his background in the Philippines. I went so far as to give the Special Operations Command at Camp Smith a call myself to check out your story.

I feel that at the very least I have put them on notice. When I first read the story on your website, I did some checking to see if I could quickly verify some of the information provided. I did not want to embarass myself by raising the alarm with anybody locally if basic facts were wrong or out of date. So I called the Special Ops Command at Camp Smith from my office just to see who is the commander. The person I talked to said "Fridovich," so that confirmed one important fact. She also seemed suspicious about why I was asking. She asked who was calling and I said " a private citizen," which made her more suspicious. She asked me to hold please, with an emphasis on "hold." Naturally, I hung up immediately, to minimize any attempt they might make to trace my call.

I checked the dates on the military website that gives a resume of its highest ranking commanders and officers, and it corroborated what the Total Information Analysis website claimed about Fridovich. On Tuesday, at my lunch break, I thought I would give the S O C (808-477-6180) another call, this time from a pay phone. I was better prepared to ask questions and bring up my concerns, having read up quite thoroughly.

The first person I spoke with when I requested to know what role the S O C was playing in the A Kele exercise transferred me to their J-3 unit. I spoke my peace, asking questions about Fridovich and his activities in the Philippines, and mentioned the name of Michael Meiring. The J- 3 unit spokesperson tried to get my name a couple times, and I gave him my stock "just a concerned private citizen" response. When I continued asking questions and expressing my concerns about a possible false flag attack, I think it was then that Mr. J-3 hung up on me. Perhaps even a mention of Michael Meiring is taboo. Apparently, they have no stock PR response to handle questions and be able to handle people like me who confront them with pesky or awkward questions. All in all it was a rather fun experience. I recommend it.
