Received from Webster G. Tarpley 3AM EDT, 10 August 2006:

"Late-night television viewers in the US eastern time zone were tonight bemused to hear wild and unsubstantiated allegations, broadcast on cable television at about 2 AM eastern time, alleging that the intrepid paladins of British intelligence had foiled a new and nefarious conspiracy to blow up at least twenty (20) passenger airliners, in a plot which would have eclipsed even the legendary 9/11. Heathrow Airport was the purported locus of this latest terror stunt.

Given the collapse of the latest Israeli offensive into Lebanon, this new publicity ploy threatens to take the world into general war -- if the US-UK-Israeli aggressor bloc is able to pin this latest chimera on Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran.

It was only a minor flaw in these broadcasts, mercilessly played up on such channels as Fox News and Sky TV -- the equivalents of the yellow journalism of the notorious News of the World -- that there was not one shred of evidence to support these demagogic and inflammatory charges.

Listeners were reminded that the British plus assorted NATO puppets were being defeated in Afghanistan, the US were being defeated in Iraq, and the Israelis were being defeated in Lebanon. The NATO puppets of the "Orange Revolution" were a thing of the past in Kiev, while the leading CIA agents were being rounded up in Rome. The dollar was in its death agony, and even the neocon hack Lieberman was all washed up in Connecticut. Tony Blair was about to join Ramsay MacDonald in the inferno reserved for Labour Party traitors who were also prime ministers. All the while, the controllers of Dick Cheney and the neocons were clamoring for a headlong rush into World War III, considered to be the remedy for all their ills.

Was it any wonder that British intelligence chose to launch yet another threadbare and absurd terror provocation on a morning in the middle of August?

The US late-night viewer could only await the inevitable parade of psychotic patsies, fanatics, dupes, basket cases, and double agents -- undoubtedly the fruits of MI-5 patsy schools like Brixton and Finsbury mosques -- who were sure to emerge in the course of the day as the latest MI-5 terror cell.

How long would the English-speaking world remain the thrall of such transparent provocations by the secret intelligence agencies?

I agree with what you have posted. I am sure that it is all MI5/Mossad run. But my question is why do you not post the following link www.iamthewitness.com to The French Connection on your list of web links. The French Connection calls a spade a spade and gets to the heart of what is behind the world tyranny. It is frightening stuff but if more people were truly aware of what is really going on on our planet then we might have a chance of getting together enough force of will to stop it. There is truly no better informed site on the internet.

When the petrodollar crashes, the most important objective will be to trash all copyright laws, to establish the common ownership of info, to pursue Solar powered microgeneration with a wartime will, to break the power of the petro elites for ever. To do this we will need the likes of Chavez & co to keep the oil turned on (even though we have not the money to pay for such), in order to preserve the information (hence the need also to establish the common ownership of info as a general back up), the 3rd world can download all such on a $100 wind up wifi laptop from MIT, which will also give them not only the power to download every book on the planet, but martial their forces/ 1st world forces in realtime to repel the plundering antics of any residual corporate gangsterdom (a veritable nanostate logic combining the ministries of defense with education). But let us begin by putting every single stinking MI5 document (& all other such) online to win the confidence of our august allies. I nominate Larry O' Hara & co to oversee the project.

It's all about LIEberman. The Republicans pretend his loss doesn't matter. The people have had enough of 2 illegal Wars (3, if you include Israel's war). The masses are waking up and no longer want a gov't that steals private lands, illegally wire-taps phones, pressures Amazon to drop the book "America Deceived", and conducts improper search and seizures. Their last hope is "terror", "terror" and more "terror". It is the only way for them to stay in power.

How strange is this thing called coincidence. 9th August, Lieberman gets beaten for the Senate nomination by an anti-war candidate; "Dr" John Reid tells Britain that it may have to give up `some' freedoms (like the freedom to not live in a Police State. There's another coincidence, we're going to get one too). August 10th, MI5 and the police `foil' a dastardly plot to blow up airliners with some unidentified liquid. Must be that damned Islamic Cola. Don't they know that only terrorists don't drink the `Real Thing'. Sadly there are a lot of people who still believe Bliar (if he told me the time of day I'd look at my watch three times and then ring the speaking clock) and who haven't worked out that Bliar's version of July 7th just doesn't hold water (or the magic unidentified exploding liquid).

as of midnight 10th, one other big item about to be pushed off the google US news queue by the terror news : "THE Bush Administration has drafted amendments to a war crimes law that would eliminate the risk of prosecution for political appointees, CIA officers and former military personnel for humiliating or degrading prisoners of war"

and maybe another few hours left for this item : "AIPAC case judge denies dismissal"

One thing I noticed after a few hours of "all terror all the time" wall-to-wall coverage on CNN and MSNBC was that it was all speculative. Other than the news that 24 people had been arrested, there was no word on who they were, what they had done, or how they came to be apprehended. Instead there were endless stories (illustrated with animation)on how the attacks might have taken place, and how they "had all the earmarks of an Al Quaeda operation". Then CNN repeated the myth that NORAD procedures for responding to hijackings were put in effect after 9/11.
