TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSISTotal911.info::REVERE RADIO NETWORK::Total Info RadioTuesday, November 07, 2006RNC's Velvet Mafia a threat to national security![]() Jordan Edmond, the page whose graphic instant messages to Republican Congressman Mark Foley set off a firestorm, provides an interesting case study into the workings of the GOP "Velvet Mafia" and how it poses a threat to national security.Edmond was revealed to be working as a top aide in the gubernatorial campaign of Oklahoma Congressman Ernest Istook. Local Republican activists were bewildered as to why much of the campaign was turned over to the inexperienced Edmond -- yet to complete his bachelor's degree -- and another young out-of-state operative named Chad Englander. The answer may lie in the Foley instant messages. Edmond apparently denies having a homosexual interest in the disgraced Foley, writing off the explicit cybersex messages as some kind of "prank." Regardless of the actual sexual inclinations of Edmond and Englander, Edmond's retaining of a top criminal defense lawyer in relation to the Foley raises a huge red flag. Edmond's now-defunct facebook profile said that "I'm probably one of the most insensative people that you will meet." It seems more than likely that this amoral political operative used his Foley evidence to get a job he was not qualified for. Whether he got his job by screwing staffers inside the RNC and NRCC or simply blackmailing them, the presence of a criminal defense attorney suggests blackmail played some part. Ad that's the real story in the Foley scandal. The Velvet Mafia inside the highest echelons of the Republican Party and the U.S. House of Representatives has opened those institutions to blackmail by college students. That means people in sensitive institutions are that uch more vulnerable to blackmail by foreign intelligence agencies, from Israel to China, not to mention stateless entities connected to the global military-industrial banking complex. .....| Posted at 23:43 | PERMA-LINK |
